$4500 amp beat out the Tenor OTL in the latest TAS
But alas, my mind is not false. 'tis what matters in the end. False gurus are temporary, but the truth has limitations, and unfortuately ignorance abounds. That is limitless, with limitless possibilites. The cream will come to the top, but not alw...
Which Cord Are U Using On Your Stealth?
Hi Kana, Man am I sorry you've had such a negative experience with the Stealth. It's hard for me to imagine. Maybe you have a defective one. I know you're, a bit, crazed by the innards, but, hey; it works. I loved mine, (and I am as picky as they ...
Which Cord Are U Using On Your Stealth?
Yes, you are confusing the two. YOu've got the information, now, to hook your new baby up correctly. Lay back and enjoy. You're in for a real treat.
Which Cord Are U Using On Your Stealth?
Bob, I don't think that's going to do it. Maybe a little better isolation, but you're still not getting the desirable isolation. Total separation is the way to go. It is, perhaps, too expensive, (for now), given the cost of the Digital Mini, so ma...
Which Cord Are U Using On Your Stealth?
Dave, all I know is that I had my amp cdp, sub and tuner plugged into my Stealth and loved what it did for my system, compared to the sound before. Now, having separated the digital from the analog using the Mini Digital, my system even sounds bet...
Which Cord Are U Using On Your Stealth?
Here's what I would do. If you plug the Stealth into the PS Audio, you won't have a referrent as to what the Stealth, alone, is doing for your system. Stealth mixed with PS Audio? Don't have a clue what you'll get. And what you get, you won't comp...
Which Cord Are U Using On Your Stealth?
What are you plugging into your new baby? CDP?, AMP? That may help 'goners. I'm sure you're keeping your digital and analog separate. Don't put both in the Stealth. You might want to consider their Stealth Mini Digital for the CDP. It makes quite ...
audio newbie question
That's interesting about the Thiels. One of the things that I thought was, truly, wonderful with that speaker, was the reproduction of the female voice. One of the best; to me. I guess that's what makes the audio world go 'round.
audio newbie question
I agree with Z. All I can say is that I owned the Thiel 1.5s for years and loved them. I, only, after 5 years, found it necessary to go with a sub. I'm glad I did. Now, I'm grooving with the Revel M20s. Although, I use a sub, it is being repaired,...
3 or 4 cones under speakers /cdp which better WHY
If you go with the Sistrum support system for your speakers or any of your components you will not have to worry about the point placement. Their 3 point system is united by a unique matrix. If you use their individual points, placement IS very im...

Cowboy Junkies
Karl, that ideal makes a whole lot of sense. After Trinity Sessions, what's the chronological order of their stuff, particulary Caution Horses, Mile from...Lay it Down, The Radio One...., Black Eyed... Thanks in advance. Warren
Cannot plug my Subwoofer back in
NO TAKERS? I don't blame ya. This is one crazy thing. It's probably an internal short. As to how or why?--beats me. It kills me, after only 14 months of very conservative listening, this should happen. I hear Revels sub, as well, had some internal...
Please help - system "brightness" problem
I agree with Z, and Neil. Speakers take a long while to (some way more than others)come into their own. Relax and let those babies run while you're not around, if you can. This will give them time to settle down. Sometimes, the perceived brightnes...
Integrated amp for less than$2500,your suggestion
YBA Integre DT. You can do this baby new, in your budget, with room to buy a nice AC cord. I think it's the best SS 50 watts out there. I just sold mine a few months ago. I had the original Integre without the dual transformer. Check this baby out...
