When is it time to consider adding a SUT?
Two words come to mind: distance and irritation
How come only 1 or 2 cartridge makers offer a tune-up after run in?
Just read the latest Crimson review in Enjoy the music and the reviewer covers this subject.
The Palladian-A step beyond
Hi Thuchan. Are you getting away with 60db gain for the ART1000 or is your AA phono a special higher gain version?
Tonearm cable recommendations
Atmosphere thank you for explaining that! I could never figure out why I wasn't getting better sound by replacing a15yr old VdH/SME cable with much more expensive offerings.
Hana el or sl cartridge 0.5 mv
Hi Fedie. You should be ok with the gain however if you are unable to change the loading to >400ohm I would think that perhaps you should look at another cart or a different phono stage.

I have always wanted to suggest a similar idea with a Furutech LP flattener for the guys in my part of the world. Plus I think this device yields a more consistant positive result than a cleaner? I have an early model Keith Monks that I maybe use ...
Benz Ebony TR or Lyra Kleos SL?

Benz Ebony TR or Lyra Kleos SL?
I am happy to keep the Ref Phono at this stage. I love its sound and it is quiet enough with NOS Tele E88CCs for a 0.32mV into MM. I find it as Dynamic as with the 1mV, just less noise. I have auditioned phonos up to 4x its price and some were bet...
