| The right amp for Martin Logan Ascents I used to have the Ascents. Used the Transcendent Sound SC150 tube monos on them to good effect. Not a SS amp but with 150 watts/channel it has plenty to drive the Ascents. I actually am having them on an audiogon auction now. Good Luck | |

| Best speaker for BC2 amps..... Ditto for me. Have owned three different generations of the Merlin VSM (Gen 3, SE, and Millennium) and am very happy with it. I understand Bobby of Merlin used Blue Circle amps to demo his speakers in past Shows before going with Joule Electra OTLs. | |

| thorens or Rega I have used the Planar 3 and the Thorens 320MkII. Much prefer the Thorens. Fuller sound, deeper bass, nice features such as auto lift at the end of records. The Planar 3 sounds lean and thin by comparison. | |
