Dared MC-7P optimal tubes
the first 2 (on the left) are the preamp tubes. the last two (on the right)are the phonostage tubes. If you don't use the mc7p phono stage you can use the preamp with only the first 2 tubes in place!Nikos

Best Bookshelf/Monitors Speakers? Suggestions
mac ma6450 output is 100w in 4-ohm. it has no autoformers so in 8-ohm will be less than 100W (~50w).
Ipod compatibility with Wav
I have a new ipod classic/i170 wadia with flac and wav files. everything works great, no sonic differences between the flac/wavs.
Apple macbook, solidstate H/drive option or not.
there is a buffer after the hard disk.no sonic differences between solid state and spinning hard disk. use a dac with good jitter removal circuit. buy the biggest hard disk you can.Nikos
