| B&K upgrade? I did this upgraade several years ago. You get a more detailed sound with a 442. Bass is not muddy like with the 140. It is a worthwhile upgrade on a budget.Enjoy the music. | |

| Which turntable should I keep? I agree with C123666. I had a DP45F, it could not be repaired due to lack of parts. I then purchased a DP51 from the repair shop. It died within 2 weeks. The shop gave me my money back. The parts for the servo arm are hard to come by. | |

| pre amp match for b&k st 202 Preamp. Try the PRO10MC Sonata. It sells for $250-300 used. it includes a phono preamp. For the CD player try a Music Hall CD25 or one of the Arcams. | |
| What do you put underneath floorstanding speakers? I have a wood floor with a basement underneath. I minimize floor vibrations by placing my speakers underneath a patio block that I have spray painted. I think you can use granite underneath for a more elegant solution. |
