Help !
My experience is between 6 and 8 minutes for good condition discs.Scuffed and scratched one's can take a fair bit longer as it has to read and re-read over and over.So yea maybe 10 minutes on average taking all into account
Help !
I would have to respectfully disagree on 1500 cds taking a long time to rip.Or being a lot of work.I ripped just over 2500 cds into my Vault 2 and it really did not seem too bad.Additionally I was able to make a back up copy of the lot to another ...
Help !
Salvation Army would take them , most charity shops would. But I along with Greg interpreted your initial post as just wanting to get rid of them due to space. So as a huge former Bluesound Vault 2 user I would have suggested that in an instant. But ...
The Golden era of Japanese integrated amps, are we missing out?
Lmao.Sorry my fat fingers.A-2000. Doh!Now I know it is not from the exact same "golden age" of Sansui amps as some of the ones mentioned here but for $75 shipped I am still deeply impressed.
The Golden era of Japanese integrated amps, are we missing out?
Looks like I lucked into a tidy little amp without knowing anything about Sansui at all. They were not really huge back in the UK, I swore by Trio gear most of the 70,s.My criteria for buying on eBay was dead simple.Mm phono input, at least 2 more ...

Glenne.Glad i am not alone on discounting a lot of golden era speakers.I firmly believe that area has made huge strides in most cases.Old cones and surrounds and crossovers to some extent , just do not age gracefully.

Do not listen to anybody on these forums ........
The Golden era of Japanese integrated amps, are we missing out?
I guess I was more getting at the seeming fact that there is a lot of love and while sites dedicated to Japanese tape decks, DD turntables, tuners etc.But I have never heard anybody suggest to look at or buy a vintage integrated.Or is it just me?
My Triad of Integrateds
Been a big Ayre fan since buying an AX7E and finding it compared very favorably with a BAT/McIntosh combo costing nearly 5 times as much. This was replaced earlier this year with the full boogie Ayre EX8 hub.My search ended that day......

Depends on your view of a " fortune".When you consider $500 to $1000 is small change for a halfway decent modern integrated with a built in mm phono then they still could be considered as good buys.
Quick and free fuse tweak
I think some purple tape would be awesome sauce!Beat Ted Denney to "The Purple Fuse" and retire happily on the proceeds!😇😇
