Best speaker stands for bookshelf speakers I'll second the Osiris. Good price. Very stylish. John.
Need a good "under carpet" speaker cable I'll second the Nordost line of products. I use BlueHeaven which is probably a bit expensive but they also make cheaper cables. John
Tuner in the 600 range for classical music? Try a Creek tuner. John.
Disks for protecting wood floors from spike damage Thanks for all the responses. Right now I am using coinsas the last poster suggests. Quarters are too low indenomination for a real audiophile - and way too common! John, ;-)

Speaker Stands: to spike or not to spike.. Assuming you don't want spike holes in your hardwood floor, use spike dishes (or whatever they are called) or coins. That's what I use. John.
coincident vs. audio physic I have the Audio Physic III and am very happy. Very openand detailed. Your situation will depend on your aplification - I have a tube amp with a 4 ohm tap. The Sonatinas are also extremely good. Probably a bit easier to drive.John.
What to place under speaker spikes on hardwood Coins. Of suitably high denomination to reflect the costof the speakers ;-) John.
Tube amps that can hande 4 ohmsl I have a Cary SLI-80 integrated driving Audio PhysicTempo III's (4 ohms). The Cary has a 4ohm/8ohm switchon the back to better match the load. John.
