Quite a few Bricasti M21 DACs for sale cheap
I recently added a Bricasti M21 to my system. The M21’s ladder DAC is an interesting option to have. I have to say, comparing the M21 to my M1 Series II shows how close the two Delta Sigma DACs are in every aspect. The M1 Series II is for sale, b...
The Beat Tour
Beat, Discipline, Three of a Perfect Pair.   Love those three. Good line up too. It’d would be interesting to hear what Danny Carey brings to the mix.
What the Best Dac have you heard or owned. How could you tell it was that good.
Best DAC I’ve heard in my system was an EMM Labs DV2, but I didn’t prefer it over a Bricasti M1 SE.  Horses for courses.
Long run XLR cables
If a system is differentially balanced, then expensive XLR interconnects should not sound differently from Mogami or Gotham Cable or Canare XLR interconnects. If components are not differentially balanced, or transformer coupled, then all bets ar...
Aurender is finally Roon Ready?!
@mclinnguy I did try Squeeze Light on the Antipodes.
Aurender is finally Roon Ready?!
I don’t know if Conductor 4 processing is better. I’m pretty much a non-believer that streamer control apps are audibly different, but the Aurender N30SA processing when in Conductor mode results in a lower noise floor than when it’s in Roon mode....
Aurender is finally Roon Ready?!
I have owned or extensively auditioned Innuos Pulse, Antipodes K50, Rockna WaveDreamNET, Auralic G2.1, and a few other Roon streamers Some of those were Roon Core devices (Antipodes and Rockna…I can’t recall if the Pulse is a Roon Core), and high...
Resolving Hum with Battery Back-up (EcoFlow) vs Power Conditioners: success vs failure
As one who has dealt with past persistent system hum, and who has taken the advice of some knowledgable people in these forums, and who eventually eliminated the hum, I conclude the following: 1) System hum is a PITA 2) Power conditioners, inclu...
Any one measured the EMI/RFI attenuation performance of audiophile power conditioners?
If you can find a way to correlate sound quality to specifications- especially EMI reduction specs, more power to you. This is an important point.    I may be the only one in these threads to have owned an OnFilter EMI filter, and it absolutel...

audio_phool OP 54 posts 04-06-2024 at 11:09am @tvad I live in India. @cleeds From your comments I can completely understand that you have no idea whatso ever about Indian HiFi scenario. And since you have no clue about the scene hence your ...
Any one measured the EMI/RFI attenuation performance of audiophile power conditioners?
audio_phool OP 53 posts 04-06-2024 at 07:56am  My system which retails north of USD 30K, I have bought it blind without any audition. So when you don't have option to try before  , you purchase blindly.   Where do you live?
The Music Room
I am a fan of TMR as a retailer. They have offered me very competitive deals on new equipment, which when backed by their 60 day return policy made the deals no-brainers. I once sold an item to TMR that got no traction on the usual re-sale sites....
Two greats from '84.
@dekay, I’m embarrassed to say it was 1989 and we saw him at the Wiltern on the “Blaze of Glory” tour. The concert I thought I remembered was “Night and Day”. Man, my brain is going, going…
Two greats from '84.
Those two were indeed on my hot rotation. "Body and Soul" continued on my hot rotation for more than a decade after its release, and I listened to it earlier this year. One of my best concert memories is seeing Joe Jackson perform "Body and Soul...
What is your experience with LiveVibe Audio Points?
I have owned Starsound Technologies Sistrum loudspeaker platforms (the predecessor to Live Vibe platforms), and Townshend Audio loudspeaker platforms. Somewhere in the thread archives I have posted a comparison. The abridged version is the Live ...
