123 Reviews All 5"s For Odyssey Sean, I have been using the stratos monos to drive full range SoundLabs. I have been very happy with them. Pushing the stats barely even warms them up. For the price range I was unable to find anything in SS or tubes that I liked as well.
Recommended Carrier for Speaker Shipments When I called Bax about shipping my speakers I was told that they will only ship company to company and will not take anything from an individual. Call them first to make sure you can ship with them, if you decide to go that way.

high end audio insurance? Having been on the adjusting side of things for a number of years, I was never out to cheat anybody, only to pay what was owed. That having been said, I can't speak for other companies but policies with replacement clauses were exactly that. If I ...

What do you do when the kids come along? I agree with hdm. I have 2 boys 5 and 8. I never stopped the music when they went to bed and they both sleep whether it is on or not. My wife and I also taught them what was off limits, which they both learned before they were able to walk. We hav...
Can you help or do I have to get divorced? Your last name wouldn't happen to be Tolles, would it?
Granite under your amp??? I was able to get a couple of 15x24x1 polished scraps of marble from a local tile and counter shop for my amps. They had a pile of scraps from jobs and let me have them for free. All I had to do was clean them up.
Where R U????? I am about half way between Sacramento and Lake Tahoe, not far from a little town called Colfax.
How much money do you want to waste? I remember when I discovered the truth about cables. I was at my local dealer just relaxing to some good sound on a set of his SoundLabs when he came in with another customer and said he was going to turn the sound off for just a second. When he t...
Best Shipper for Large Packages I have shipped SoundLab speakers via Delta Air Cargo. SoundLab recommended them. While you do have to take your item to the airport and pick it up, they were not only less expensive than anything else I checked but they were fast.
Who R U? I'm 45, married for almost 25 years to a wonderful woman who understands that my SoundLABs need to be out at least 6'. I have loved music all my life and took years of piano lessons. I still play, but am sure my piano teachers would deny that they...
Cables for Soundlab speakers Scon90, I have the Auras, which if I remember correctly are the same panel as the pristines. A big improvement overall with my Auras came as a result of upgrading the panels to the copper diffusion ring. It was a big improvement in all aspects of ...
Opinions Odyssey stratus - Martin Logans I use the Odyssey monos to drive a pair of full range SoundLab Auras. The Auras came alive when I got the Odyssey monos. Not only did the sound stage become larger and more detailed, but suddenly the Auras had deeper and stronger bass with the mon... |
