Dussun U3i phono amp
If you search for Dussun, you can find many positive experiences with the V8 and V6 amps. I too, am interested in a low cost phono amp and the Dussun certainly looks interesting... But alas, no reviews so far... 
Best turntable/cartridge combo for $700-$750
May I suggest the Music Hall 5.1 and get the Goldring 1420 replacemnt stylus... I have this combo and it sounds so much better than the stock one. More richer, warmer sound and less surface noise...

I meant the grouding connector on the back of the turntable in between the rca connectors... The MMF5.1 came with a RCA cable that has the groud wire attached..

Thanks for the help gents.. I have the stock Goldring 1012GX cartridge that came with my MMF5.1. I grounded my turntable by connecting the grounding wire from the turntable ground connector to my phono preamp ground connector. The humming doesn't ...
