Transports: CEC TL5 vs. Audio Note CDT-Zero II? The TL5 has already surpassed the Audiolab in pretty much every aspect. The Audiolab was (is) a really good transport, that I enjoyed very much. The TL5 is like putting newer, more transparent, glass in a window that I already thought was really c...
Transports: CEC TL5 vs. Audio Note CDT-Zero II? Got the TL5 yesterday. It is breaking in, but already shows great promise.
Transports: CEC TL5 vs. Audio Note CDT-Zero II? I think I bought it in 2004. It was in storage for the last seven years, though. I took a break from the audiophile game, and just got back in. It's a very well built piece. The XLR output is intermittent, but other than that, it still works great.
SET 45 Amp Driving Dynamic Speakers The Yamamoto A-08S is on my list, if I come into some unexpected cash. I'd run it into my ANs (92 db?) full range, just like I'm doing now. I'm sure it will have enough "slam" for when I play The Killers. 90 db is LOUD!
Synergistic Red Fuse ... If you want to get the full effect, you have to listen to fusion music.
Transports: CEC TL5 vs. Audio Note CDT-Zero II? Sounds nice, but way over my budget. I decided to gowith the TL5, and will have it in a few days. Am hoping it will be a nice improvement over my old Audiolab CDM 8000.

Synergistic Red Fuse ... Installed a black in my Audio Note DAC Kit 1.1. After getting the direction right, I left it on for 4 days to burn in. Didn’t hear any difference.Just kidding! Instruments sound even more real. Background is blacker. Individual lines are easier to...
Synergistic Red Fuse ... Does this forum have an ignore list feature? I couldn't find one.
Synergistic Red Fuse ... uberdine,Apparently, you mistakenly think I am geoffkait posting under another name. Not sure what your beef is with him, but leave me out of it.
Synergistic Red Fuse ... I appreciate those who may be skeptical of the differences people are hearing with these fuses, but still make worthwhile contributions to this thread. Then there are those who live under bridges...
Synergistic Red Fuse ... Since those of us who hear a difference are obviously delusional, Why do you guys waste your time trying to convince us otherwise?Oh that's right, you are the self-appointed guardians of gullible audiophiles, and have a sworn duty to try and save ...
Synergistic Red Fuse ... Since directionality can be heard in standard fuses, not just audiophile ones, it doesn't cost anything but time to test it in your own system. Simply flip a fuse. If you can hear a difference, better or worse, then you've proven to yourself that ... |
