| What percentage of audiophiles use a sub ? I used a REL with my Harbeths and will probably always use a sub even when using full range speakers. Setup and integrating it was easy and very rewarding. It has nothing to do with vibrating internal organs. | |

| Good amps for Thiel CS 3.7 speakers? I have heard (and owned 7.2s) several Thiels including the 3.7s with all Ayre systems and thought they were nice. But if I was looking to warm them up I would move to BAT, both preamp(tube) and amp (SS) with them. | |

| Threshold SA/4E or Pass X-250?? As nice as the amp was with the Thiels, didnt work out to great with the Harbeths. I will keep listening until I sell it, in case I change my mind. But will probably try either the Pass or one of the McCormack amps after I recover my $$$ | |

| Phono preamp for Dynavector XX2mkII In my system I had a little different results with the Ayre and Sim phonos. Using the Ayre K-1xe preamp and Ayre amp with Thiel speakers. I found the Ayre to be on the dry side and a little thin compared to the Sim. It also was not as quiet. |
