cleeds, the dead channel follows when I reverse the leads. That would mean it’s the cartridge?

Lewn, it was DOA. No just meant the person who sold it to me said he had 10hrs on it.Tro, the head shell is part of the arm. it’s a Rega 200.

Which then leaves the question... who has a 16rpm on there tt? You’d also think the company would put a little extra “signage” warning that it’s a non standard speed.I hope you’re able to exchange it.

I would really question putting the speakers so close to the fireplace with the glass. If you convert back to a wire screen, you’re definitely asking for trouble. 1.5ft is nothing even though they’re off to the side. A decent fire puts out a lot o...

What separate tube phono stage do you use ?
My first phono stage is a new Jolida JD9.  Well reviewed upper entry level.  Don’t actually get to plug it in till Christmas so, I can’t give my impression yet.

I remember we’d see him at a small Blues bar on the north side of Chicago.  My friend & I were underage but tall so, they’d let us in. That wouldn’t happen today.
