China built tube amps
I'm on my second Chifi amplifier & have been very impressed both times. The first - a Music Angel Class A - was excellent after an inexpensive tube replacement. A U.S. technician's incompetence killed it. Now I have an early Sophia EL 34 China... 
When did audio goners now have to pay to see the book value of equipment??
A thing is worth1/ its value to you2/ what someone will pay you for it.Why do you want to sell it? How much do you want to buy it?Are you listening to the music or are you in the equipment brokering business?

Some of the best playbacks I've ever heard were on  really crappy systems on the beach in the Dominican Republic and in the mountains of northwest Vietnam.

Sophia Electric is not honest
According to a very reputable tech here in Northern Virgina the 2003 EL34 A/B amp I own was assembled in the U.S. from Chinese parts. As long as the q.c. is good, there's no problem with Chinese parts. I had a Chifi class A amp for many happy year...
