Feedback on Audioquest Diamond Ethernet Cables
Al,Thank you for that link. The entire thread was speculation, but the last post was exactly what I was looking for - someone who used a cable and shared their results.Kindest regards, TJF.
Best High End Audio Manufacturer???
I'd have to say Pass on that one.
Recommend Class a Amp
You didn't state the efficiency of the speakers, but a Pass XA-30.5 sounded pretty darn good with our Watt Puppy 5.1's (at the time). While these Wilsons were efficient, they were very difficult to drive. The little Pass is an overachiever by any me...
Funny and clever Axpona Ad
Way too funny guys! Thanks for the laugh!
Amps under $5k that are resolving at low volumes?
You can easily get a Pass INT-30 or INT-150 for under $5k used here on Audiogon. You won't be disappointed. If you have your room and speakers acoustically optimized and well set up, I'd recommend the INT-30 as it recreates the acoustic venue the p...
CD Transport advices
Respectfully, IMHO and from my personal experience, a good transport / digital cable / DAC combination will outdo all but the best USB systems.USB cables are not the ideal digital cables - XLR digital cables are with RCA digital cables a close 2nd...
Comments on interconnect cables
What are your listening preferences - what type of music do you listen to?Do you attend live performances as a reference when evaluating your system's performance? Is your system set up to recreate the recording as it was performed? Is it optimized...

Proper subwoofer integration?
Glad to offer whatever help I could.
Emotiva XSP-1 vs XSP-1 Gen 2
Lev,I mistakenly hit the submit button.Product margins may seem excessive, but if you find a full service retailer who will support you in making long term investments - well I feel they've earned their profit.Operating a retail store involves sel...
Emotiva XSP-1 vs XSP-1 Gen 2
Lev,You make several confirmed points, but there's more to consider. I don't disagree with you, I want to share our experiences.First - American Company Products:I support manufacturer's who maintain a financially sound company, offer products tha...
Emotiva XSP-1 vs XSP-1 Gen 2
Lev,A big thank you for sharing. We've had Threshold T-200 and T-400 amplifiers and they were very good, even by todays standards.Your feedback on the XPR-1's is impressive. An endorsement for certain.I would think the XPR-1's betters the T-50 in ...
Emotiva XSP-1 vs XSP-1 Gen 2
I respect your opinion and would like to ask what amplifiers you compared the XPR-1's to?I would like to try Emotiva's stuff, I just can't be bothered ordering it, listening to it only to send it back if it falls short of sounding reasonably convi...
Proper subwoofer integration?
While this may sound over simplified - trial and error will be the best way to determine what works best.Using all the filters in series, while it will no doubt result in a very steep cross-over slope, will most likely make integrating the sub dif...
