Reason for buying old/classic turntables
I think, going for vintage Turntables has several reason's:Price, lot of people out there can't afford the actual units or when they do a comparison, some may find, that the actual units are way overpriced for their performance. Same for Tonearms ...

I preferred the sonic quality from the Dynalab 108 to all others I ever listened to.And I still own it.
Best Phono Stage within 2000 $
Klyne 7 Phono. Really good (MUCH better than Tron 7, all Whests, Aesthetix Rhea etc.)
Antiskating .... The last analog secret
I agree with Doug. I tried nearly every setting from AS to no AS. Yes, no AS is definitely different, but in my opinion only "better in the first minute". I am back with AS, but as little as possible in combination with looking what movement the n...

45RPM reissues: really better one-side pressing?
You can charge more money with that. We should be - very - lucky, that "they" don't do "1-Song-Per-Side" pressings
Neil Diamond.........
"Home Before Dark" is a real great album. Sound is outstanding on Vinyl, when they use a Digital Master, I don't hear it.But "12 Songs" (the Double CD, where his choices are on a separate Disc) is unique. Remembers me a little bit to Cash' 1. Albu...
