Pass Labs X 350.8 or 350.8?
Now you have a different user name?  What kind of "new sound" are you trying to get?  The AW180s are actually great amps with excellent control and nice detail without being too bright. That being said, you should go with the Pass amp that sounds ...
Pass Labs X 350.8 or 350.8?
I would go with the 350.8 over the 350.8.  Why do you want to replace the Electrocompaniet?
Need help preamp
What trouble have you had with McIntosh preamps?  I use a McIntosh tube preamp with an MC275 and they have been trouble-free are an very musical together.

one of the lights on the right side of one meter went out recently. i would have it replaced but that amp 'weighs' too much to move! LOL!!That's why I had kids in the first place - to help me move my monoblocks.  They'll get my systems when I'm g...
Power Cord for Pass Int 60-Under 1K used
I've had very good results from the Clarus Crimson high current power amp cords.
What does moving from a 150 watt amp to a 400 watt amp get you?
A much larger electricity bill :)

firefightingrob - Thanks for sharing your impressions of the 326s.  I was thinking I could go with a SS preamp since the Nemos are so smooth and I like the idea of bulletproof.  It sounds like I should stick with tubes, however, as it seems I shar...

firegightingrob - I own the Nemos and love them (I would not recommend something I have not owned or tried for an extended period of time personally).  They are on the warmer side of the spectrum which I prefer coming from tubes.  The sound stage ...

If you are looking for power, dynamics and control, it might be worth looking into the EC Nemo monoblocks.  They put out 1,200 wpc at 4 ohms and can drive your Magicos very well.  They are also black (with a thick, clear acrylic face plate).
Soooooooo many possibilities...!
Check out the C1100 preamp.  It would be a good match to your amp and just disappears when the music starts.  The built-in phono is pretty good but you can always try an Allnic if you want even more resolution from your vinyl.
Blade 2, Sopra 2 or 3 or Scala Evo?
Since you are in Europe, if you go KEF Blade 2, you should also look at Electrocompaniet Nemo amps.  KEF uses them to demo the Blade in their factory museum.  I am using them with my KEF Reference 5s and they are outstanding.
Still looking for speakers in the 10-20,000 range
Hey fast, the Reference 5s do require a bit of break-in to sound their best. I don't really remember but it took a bit of time, for sure.  Mine are 10' apart and I'm using the short ports with my speakers 18" from the back wall and 5' from the sid...

If you want something simple and family friendly, I would suggest the Parasound HINT for the main system.  It's a Swiss army knife of an integrated, sounds great (especially with the R300s) and it doesn't cost so much that you won't freak out if t...
Still looking for speakers in the 10-20,000 range
I have the KEF Reference 5s and love them. They do everything that you like about the 3s, but just more of it. They are also quite flexible with the type of amp you use with them. Do you want a front row seat in an intimate club? I ran them with a...
What is your listening chair?
I use an Inada DreamWave as my chair in my dedicated listening room.
