Stillpoints and reference-level speakers
While picking and choosing and auditioning new materials for the latest platforms this session appeared. There was a variation.. of many tried that was less than 1/2 of 1 percent difference in gross material content. The presentation of this singl...
Paint that helps diffuse sound?
Or a store that sells and installs Energy Rooms..no joke. Tom
Paint that helps diffuse sound?
I do this inside speaker cabinets and works well. Only thing stopping me from applying the same formula to my dedicated room's wall is my bride. It was built to be my space but over the years that distinction became blended. Tom
Wall Outlet Oyaide, Furutek, Wattgate, and others
Once upon a time on a similar thread these words came off my finger tips.I purchased single outlet Hubbell 6361's less resonance I believe, all brass and copper save for some external mounting and one terminal screw which I replaced for brass. I h...
Paint that helps diffuse sound?
A rough surface will diffuse the sound. Sound will travel along a smooth wall and a hardwood floor, like a wing it will sail. You can mix your own paint. You just need to know what to add. Tom

There is a gain in apparent dynamics with just the Audio Point alone. The shelf between the two points increases the collection area of the tip. When all is mechanically grounded to a much higher mass such as a floor then energy migrates in that d...
Stillpoints and reference-level speakers
Here is what I have encountered.Cables take time to break in and so do mechanical grounding devices such as those we design. Energy is always in search of ground and when that point of contact is broken or moved it takes time to re establish that ...

Agear is correct in using the APCD2 coupling discs on his cork floor. You should also use these discs on hardwood, stone or tile floors. I prefer the sound benefit when using a coupling disc between the point tip and the bottom of the component. Th...
What direction should Hi Fi tune fuse be installed
Stanford researchers control light using synthetic magnetism.I haven't been able to replicate this at home in my audio room yet, but I am working on it. Tom
What direction should Hi Fi tune fuse be installed
Buy one and try one. Or several. Your into trying stuff aren't you. Tom

How about magnets. Magnets enhance the directionality of ac passing thru them much the same as cryo treatment of metals and conductors enhance and unify the direction of their molecules. Results are better sound. Improved dynamics, lower noise.
THE GREAT AC OUTLET SHOOTOUT.
I purchased single outlet Hubbell 6361's less resonance I believe, all brass and copper save for some external mounting and one terminal screw which I replaced for brass. I had these triple cyro'd and ordered single gang stainless [virtually non m...
High Fidelity Cables CT-1designed by Rick Schultz
Like using magnets that sound better than fuses.Where did that idea originate.Who thinks that way,way out of the breaker box.Tom
Fuses that matter.
Norm,Never did the Tesla thing but multiple cryo's sound better than just the one. It seems to be progressive, I have had the same parts treated up to six times. Enhances magnets and powders as well. Chill only don't heat temper. Tom
Capacitor log Mundorf Silver in Oil
Has anyone here compared a familiar fully broken in cap to one that was the same and identical and then cryo'd a couple of times? The performance gain in cryo'd parts is pretty amazing. Caps, resistors, diodes, transformers, outputs and even chass...
