MoFi enzyme based cleaner and pure rinse
Rushton, my experience both with Step Four and with Lloyd was the same.
MoFi enzyme based cleaner and pure rinse
Chashmal, I had been doing two final rinses with Ultra pure water, Walker's Step Three. I have since cleaned many of these records with a very great improvement in sound. Lloyd assures me it is not just pure water.Dan_ed, Walker's Enzyme Step One ...

Markd51, I'm sorry, I misunderstood what you were saying by 180 degrees.Sonofjim, in my experience there are clear benefits of some cleaning methods over others. Years ago I tried steam cleaning to no get benefit. Perhaps I did it wrong. Before th...

Markd51, it seems to me that being the case that you would indeed go with the cheapest.
How many People own Working Reel to Reel Decks?
Look into the Tape Project. I have heard their moded decks and tapes. They are outstanding. There is little question that reel to reel is the best, but what a pain in the ass. I will never try them again.

Absolutely, there never is. Let me add Walker Audio Prelude. Which of the four steps is vital from the enzyme to the Step IV I don't know but the cleaned records have virtually no noise and sound much better than the four other systems I have used.
Rain-X as CD Enhancement Treatment
This was quite the rage about five years ago. Rain-X is cheap, but I found other products are better, notably Walker's Ultra-Vivid.
has anyone tried ultrabit platinum on their cds
I tried it long ago. I still use some of George's old cleaner, but did not like the UltraBit.The best product I have tried is Lloyd Walker's Ultra-Vivid. But since I now put my cds on a music server and find no difference in doing so between clean...
2-way speaker with best bass
The Version 3 is better than the Mini II, IMHO. The Kharmas are crap. I cannot imagine how they can sell them.
Synergistic research Quattro problem.........Help
Isn't this a question for the company's technical support?
New Fuse Thread . . .
I first heard of AVM about a year and a half ago. I ran into a company using it at the 2007 RMAF, Reference 3A which used it in their Grand Veenas. It is a Canadian company that sells hundreds of liters of it monthly to Asian manufacturers. Only o...
2-way speaker with best bass
I bought the Acapella LaCampanellas for just this reason. Their plasma tweeter is outstanding but using it in speaker above the LaCampanellas makes for a complex crossover. They go deep and can play loud.
When has a piece of equipment paid for itself??
I seldom consider that I have kept few components for more than three years. As such I might be concerned about resale value. I certainly know some people for whom this is an important consideration as well as some who only want big expensive gear...
Request opinions on SACD/CD Players.
Let me add two to your list. The Exemplar/Shanling SCD-3000 mod is outstanding and costs $6500 and the Lindemann 820S which includes a linestage is $20k. I cannot afford the Lindemann but have the Exemplar. It is superior to my Esoteric X-1 LE.
New Fuse Thread . . .
I don't understand why there is so much discussion of the Hi-Fi Tuning fuses and none about the IsoCleans which I find clearly superior and cheaper? And they have their direction marked while at least for the Hi-Fi Tuning fuses I have it is unmark...
