| Merlin speaker /Amplifier combinations? I used a McIntosh MC275 and passing it through my McIntosh MX135, and it sounds great. If you want more power, then go MC402 and a LLamm LL2 Deluxe pre. Just my opinion. Good luck. Tim | |

| McIntosh C2200 or Audio Research Reference phono From a perspective of someone who used to own a C2200 (used to!!!), I would keep the AR. The Mc sounded thin and lean to me, and the phono stage was very noisy. Just my $.02.Tim |
