active speaker system, ideally child friendly
If you teach him not to touch, you'll have the added benefit of not having non-functioning controls due to sticky finger's.
Anybody heard Reimer Teton speakers?
Are they still in business? Dave Clark form Positive Feedback has Reimer's and I thought they were no longer around.
Mark Levinson 23.5: camac or RCA?
The 23.5 was all RCA IIRC. I've had Camac's adapter's($60 ea)when I had cables that were half-n-half. Adapter's are like second-class citizen's.
WHERE ARE THE BIG DAC ???
Accustic Arts Dac II.
Opinions on Finite Element Pagoda Signature Rack
HRS: expensive and bulky looking. The fancy adds NOTHING to the performance, but it'll take you over the $9k sticker.
Roksan Attessa Mk1 transport Opinions please
The MK1 was ugly with the next offering better looking.
PS Audio Perfectwave Compared to High End Players
A friend has the PSA combo and another has the 808.2. The Meridian owner said the 808.2 killed the Spectral CDP which killed the full DCS stack.I, too, would like to read about the PWD vs. the Berkley.
has anyone tried PS Audio perfect wave duo
I'm sure the metal remote that came with the original(and sexy)Lens/Genesis amps would've been perfect.
has anyone tried PS Audio perfect wave duo
Levy,We you say "grip", do you mean "gripe(complaint)or a suitcase(used by "oldtime" Jamaican's when speaking "Patois")?
What isolation feet to use??
I like the Grand Prix Auadio Apex and they don't have to be used only in a GPA rack.

Does the dac sound better single-ended or balanced?
Esoteric PS-0, Metronome Kalista, Burmester 969 ?
What's an "underneath" CD transport?
9 year old 36" Sony XBR CRT doing the Jitterbug.
You maybe right. It's so bad, that when watching a DVD, the screen will "blackout" and another channel will be visible momentarily.
Most Peaceful Music you've Heard or Own
A couple of Enthne Vrianon's slow songs would do it.t
Guitar's...what do the audionuts play?
Boogie MK2C. Haven't used it since '95 as I can't be bothered to turn it on(the acoustics are taken up my time).
