Shielded power cord best used on Digital/Source or on Tube Amps?
Thanks grannyring for the info on the shield being connected to the ground. I had heard of people using the shield in some way but no specifics. I got one FP-SO22N and it is pretty good on my dac and integrated amp but I may open up the outlet end...
Has anyone tried these stunning new CPT power cord?
@grannyring Do you have a link for the damping material your using? I have a bunch of the dynamat type stuff leftover from my truck I'm wondering would add anything to the inside of my 1800.
Duelund DCA16GA
Just curious what the concern is of not cleaning off the oil? Possible bad connection for the speaker posts? I haven't had a problem with the 16g speaker wire where I've used it and always thought that the oil is what partly helps give Duelund it'...

@lak I was told that one qv2 equals about 5 or 6 of the mc0.5's so they could be cheaper when you look at it that way. But after reading this dagago review I'm not sure I would like the qv2 as I don't want to add any warmth to my system.https://ww...

I've been enjoying my mc-0.5's in my system and shared a few with a friend and he noticed quite an improvement in his setup as well. He asked me what difference is there between these and the Nordost qv2's.  Anybody have a chance to compare the mc...

@lak What component are you using the Furutech cable on? And are you saying you prefer it over the Cerious Tech blue?I think Chris at VH Audio sells this wire. I like to tinker every once in a while trying new stuff and if you can make it yourself...

@lak  -thanks for the reply.Where do you use the 300? I wonder if the same would apply if a 300/150/50 was used after the 1800? I was skimming through the thread here to see if anybody uses the equi=core cables in conjunction with a 1200/1800 but ...

Just curious to see if any e=c 1200/1800 owners are using a e=c 300/150/50 cable from the wall to their units. Any added benefit?

I started with one in each outlet around the room and then was able to put a 3-1 splitter at each outlet and now have two splitters at the stereo outlet. What's funny is as I would add a few at a time I noticed the music would take a step back but...

I’m curious to know how many have experimented with the mc-0.5’s at the specific outlet that the stereo system is plugged into versus the other outlets that are also on the same circuit. I have 4 outlets in the same room as my system and there cou...

Thanks ddraudt for sharing that someone has 101 of the mc-0.5's. Just when I think I'm off the deep end it's nice to know there's someone crazier than I am.  :)I have 14 at the moment and all on the same circuit on 4 outlets. As much as I'm impres...
