I couldn’t disagree more. It’s the music and its reproduction that matters, not the device that is rendering it.

I prefer to keep that unknown, that’s why I was vague about it. I think it’s better to keep the test as blind as possible, so the emphasis is on which recording represents live performance and live sound more accurately.
