Where to buy a good quality wall wart
If you want to go high end you might try the Russ Andrews site in the UK. They've just made a replacement wall wart for Cambridge DAC Magic that's amazing.http://www.russandrews.com/category.asp?lookup=1&region=UK&currency=GBP&customer...
Dac Magic / Music Hall Dac25.2 / Digital Link III
Getting an original Peachtree Decco for my office system convinced me that adding a DAC to my main system which was being fed by an Apple TV streaming Apple Lossless files was the way to go. I opted for a Dac Magic because it has multiple inputs a...
High WAF, simple, integrated amplifier
Sounds like a used Peachtree Decco would be perfect. Recommend buying a refurbished unit from the manufacturer, which they sell for $500.

Squeezebox Duet VS AppleTV
I run an Apple TV through the Cambridge DacMagic and the sound is fabulous, (huge improvement over the Apple TV's internal DAC.)Advantage of Apple TV over Squeezebox is that you also have a video feed that you can play through an HD monitor that g...
Decco from Preachtree audio
Decco's manufacturer has offered to repair/replace the unit and paid for shipping to their address. According to the dealer who sold me the unit other than mine, defective units are non-existent. Guess I'm just "lucky". Like I said I love the amp ...
Decco from Preachtree audio
I'm on my 2nd defective unit, I'm afraid. The first didn't have a receiver chip that worked so no connection through USB was possible. The second had a defective remote--which the company replaced, just got it today--but has a left channel that has ...
