Thoughts on the Jeff Rowland Concerto integrated? Njp, Sorry i can't help you with the phono, i have the linestage only. Hbarrel, I had a model 10 that i bought here on the gon a couple years ago. It went on the blink and i called and spoke with Jeff directly. We were talking about the problem an...
Thoughts on the Jeff Rowland Concerto integrated? I have had my concerto for 6 months or so. I love it. It has everything you could want out of an amp. High power, small footprint, almost no heat, looks great, great customer service and i could go on, and on. If you factor in no preamp and 1 less...
Sonical differences btw. Concentra II and Concert Hi Frankpiet, I have had both the model 10 and now own the concerto. {See my system pics.} I think on raw performance the two are very similar. The Concerto gives you so much more flexibility. It has 4 inputs, volume control, phono if you want it,...
Best of Audiogon Members Trelja and Bin, I agree totally. Those guys were posting regularly when i first got into the hobby. I couidn't get enuff of audiogon. Their posts were informative and witty. Maybe i'm getting a little burned out but i really enjoyed those days!
How much does your system retail for? I guess mine retails for about $24,000. I like buying used but everything i bought new. I couldn't wait for it to turn up on the used market!
Looking to start over. How do you think this sound Well Seejungle, I did exactly the same thing a year ago. I needed something to integrate my ht/ 2 channel. I went with the Rowland. It really is a no brainer. I leave it on, it uses almost no electricity, and i plug tv/dvd/sat into it. For me all ...
Electrocompaniet EMC-1 24/192...Where to from here Hi Barrelchief, I think at this point the differences are subtle. I had a emc-1 and it was an excellent performer. I wouldn't worry about it. I bought a modified exemplar dvd player. The reason was due to simplifying, and also i needed video.
Audiogon "SACD's TO DIE FOR" list Hey Chams, How's the Belles? I like your suggestion of "yola". I bought Beck on the above recommendation- i just don't get it. It is depressing!
Pass x250 always on:how much more $ in electricity Jeff Rowland told me that basically you take the wpc and divide by 2. He said running a 150wpc amp {my model 10 } was like leaving on a 75 watt light bulb. Don't know if that applies to other amps or not.
is Plinius Sa102 "enough" for SF Amati ? Redkiwi, How 'bout some pics of your setup? Would love to see it.
Exemplar Denon 2900. WOW Need owner advice. Lasercd, Yes, I think the 5910 will be the one to wait on. I think it will be the final link of video/audio nirvana. Why limit ourselves with the 3910? I think a balanced version will be what we are all waiting for....
Anybody else get a Rowland Concerto? Sorry guys, I am talking about the integrated, i geuss it's called the conceirto. I get them mixed up. I just love the look, size , power, temperature, etc. I have had Model 10, bat vk60,clayton s40,Belles 250i. This Rowland has been my favorite.
Is Exemplar the answer? Are you guys using the direct digital switch? This shuts off the video and display features for a supposed increase in performance. Can anyone tell a difference?
Is Exemplar the answer? Well, I finally received mine today. It sounds really good out of the box. I haven't really had much time to sit down to listen today. I did open it up and it looked really well thought out and quality of workmanship is excellent. I am going to ru... |
