Red Rose Music by Mark Levinson.
The only thing I know about Red Rose is that the best stereo salesman in the world, who sold me, among other things, my Proac Response 3.5's, and who never failed to steer me in the right direction, recently left Stereo Exchange in NY to go work f...
How do you know what's Class A?
Actually, it's not actually October and May, it actually actually October and APRIL (sorry, Keis, I couldn't resist). P.S. check out stereophile.com
Conrad Johnson Premier 11a--Triode?
I don't know about triode mode, but I heard from an incredibly knowledgeable former salesman (and CJ-lover) at Stereo Exchange (NY) that the 11a improves significantly if you upgrade the power cord. Of course, if you're not electrically handy, you...
Richard Gray's Power Co - ...that bad?
The power I get in Hoboken, NJ in my 110-year-old apartment building is just awful. The first Power Company unit made a huge difference, and the second one I daisy-chained made a small, but noticeable difference. Your results probably depend on yo...

plinius or b.a.t.
Entirely different amps!!!! I own both a VK200 and a Plinius 100 (along with a CJ Premiere 11a, Sunfire and a Forte Model 6). The BAT is the closest thing I've heard to a classic tube amp - the lushest, most mellow solid state amp I've ever heard ...
Willl you spend over $5000.00 for speakers?
<> I don't quite qualify for the $5,000 category as I only paid $4,000 for a pair of used Pro Ac Response 3.5's, but considering they went for $7,500 new, I'll ramble on anyway. First a little background. I've owned many different speakers, ...
