Accuphase amps & Tube Preamps? BTW, impedance loads. Matching Accuphase and Tube preamp loads, this is really what I am trying to get at.
Accuphase amps & Tube Preamps? Stiltskin, yes tuner is very nice as well as integrated. Cap(s), diode etc replacement on E202 would likely prove nothing short of astonishing. Tuner is a 5 gang with solid rich sound, love it, thanks for input.
Accuphase amps & Tube Preamps? Funny you should mention Shindo as I believe that is quite possibly where I may go next in the audio chain. Thank you, for your comments.I certainly would welcome more from Audiogon members.
Accuphase Vintage Thanks, to all. I can install an IEC as I have done in the past with other gear, but it would be a conversion that might take cutting or demo work which I want to avoid. Also the two pin is not the standard like a 3 pin. The two connectors are thi...
Altec Lansing A7's 50's model They can sound great with string quartet given SET amps or low wattage quality Push Pull. I've even driven mine with a 50 watt Accuphase with astounding results. Yes, to much power and mediocre electronics can make them honk, but this is not a tra...

Altec Lansing A7's 50's model I own a pair of A-7's since last fall and love them. I have run them with 3/4 of a watt and 75 watts. Depending on your room size and listening habits I recommend caution in terms of power, especially if they are 16 0hm like mine. 75 watts was a p...
Square peg round hole? Cowmoozik, I've been driving Maggie 1.6 QR speakers with BC2s for the last few months and they drive a very difficult load between 1.8 - 4 ohm. Some people including Gilbert Yeung I believe have run them with Martin Logan CLS speakers. Anyhow, the...
