Has anyone answered the real question?
Those of us with young children may find ourselves tapping our fingers to a PBS show's tune and feel quite inempty if that is what has slipped in. But it's just life.Get to that saturation or concentration level again, and write over it.:)Right no...
What to look for in purchasing CD-R's for recordin
I won't use anything less than TDK. But like many of the gold discs out there. Oddly enough, company's names starting with M seem to have too much mids for me, (Mem, or Max not in Gold discs or Mobile Fidelity.)hahaha
You're favorite CD for breaking in new speakers...
I remember using REM's Out of Time, Midnight Oil's Blue Sky Mining, and U2's Achtung Baby, and Fixx- Reach The Beach.:)Now I guess it would be stuff like Diego Urcola, and Eldar, and Staind or DamagePlan. :)
To cryo or not to cryo
yeah, have them do it; then if you don't like it you can get most of your money back as if they back it they can sell it.The benies of cryo are easy to a/b. But some things are not recommended. Having the manu do it is very safe.
Anyone Heard Herbies Interconnect?
originally questioning if anyone heard them, stated I didn't have $'s at this time. sorry. I like the gold/silver sound I've heard so far. Just gold alone is a little dull, silver can be a bit harsh. I've tried other gold/silver cables and thought...
Review: Grungebuster CD Mat Herbie's Audio Lab Tweak
If it works as well as the tube dampers! :) I'll have to get some. I think his 90 day trial period is very generous. He's also found an interconnect that he's endorsing. I've bought ebony and it takes a long afternoon to work a set of 3 cones. So i...

Most achingly-beautiful music
How about Al D. and Paco D on al's Elegant gypsy; playing those two guitars?or Cowboy Junkies, Trinity Sessions? The Art Pepper Meets the Rhythm section isn't aching beautiful but the story of how badly he was "living" and the great recording that...

Cheapest class D amp?
Hi, though I never thought I'd recommend these, I'd say the Flying Mole might do it.I've been told that the New force is a little warmer than my Audio Magic's. I had the Flying Mole's here and thought they had the tonality of a spectral 50.However...
Review: Krell KAV-300cd CD Player
Hi,I've had Krell 250's and now have the 280CD. There's only one flaw. The 280 seems to give a near field experience that is less intense. having said that, "step back!" The Bass is deeper and clearer, mids are slightly more sweet, and the highs t...
Review: Pass Labs Aleph 3 Amplifier
The "3" I sold is now bi-amp'd for satelites with a pair of AAragon Paladium for bass. I'll keep my comments to the "3". It's running a Raven 2 ribbon over a Manger driver. oooh Sweet!. The Raven ribbons are 24db high pass at 10khz. This is the be...

Hi, this question has probably given us all a great time helping you.Where it sends my brain is "what are the best deals I've ever seen on Audiogon?" or "what have I drooled over but had a few less pennies than it took to play?"or have owned and l...
