Who says cables don't make a difference? Robert, I hadn’t checked back for a while as noticed you gave a response to my first post on this thread. You know they barely have a meter how? You don’t know, and I’ve seen videos of some of their facilities, happened to see a lot of meters. As ...
Who says cables don't make a difference? Would it matter? Even if they did the naysayers will explain it away as they’re 10 percent nickel to iron, vs 5 percent. Or they’re gapped incorrectly, anything to keep it going. Why do they work so hard to try to convince anyone who will listen. ...
Have you heard of Block audio monoblock amplifiers https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=La8GRwINIYICheck out this video.
Tekton Brisance Well with four paradigm sub2s on 230v each, ill find out.
Tekton Brisance DBA is distributed bass array. Means four or more subs in essence. The idea is that four subs can perform better for a variety of reason than fewer can, and you don’t have to spend as much on higher end ones, can spend less on four than two, and a...
good discussion on power cords Gene in that video supposedly reviews audio products, but a high percentage of his videos are about cables. It’s obvious he is biased, and even he himself tried to tell me that I did not hear what I heard in a demo at a dealer. I told him don’t ta...
Is there an Audiogon for musical instruments? Geof is correct, Reverb
Who says cables don't make a difference? Is there a difference, sure there is. But as with most equipment, the amount of improve is incremental as price goes up. I do believe that the cable industry ( and their associated gear) is the highest profit item in audio land are they too much, ...
Should people who can't solder, build or test their speakers be considered audiophiles? To me it’s sad if your only intention for posting what you did was for the value of the reactions. Must still be stuck at home with nothing to do, no new tv programming and running out of constructive activities
Should people who can't solder, build or test their speakers be considered audiophiles? I shill Synergistci research? When did this happen? I have bought their products, but I am not in the audio business any more than I spend lots of money in the industry for my personal listening pleasure. And if it’s not ok to talk about the produ...
Should people who can't solder, build or test their speakers be considered audiophiles? From my experience most musicians are not into as accurate a sound as most audiophiles Hgh I’m sure there are ones who want the ultimate in accuracy also. They are people like the rest of us, and each have their own preferences as well.
Should people who can't solder, build or test their speakers be considered audiophiles? Mahlman, so you have a bias against B&w as well I see. So one of my others systems with 800D3s is also terrible, as is mine with the Tekton Ulfers. I guess my Wilson Sasha Daws will be next on the list, lol. What a live performance sounds like...
Should people who can't solder, build or test their speakers be considered audiophiles? Actually top gear has been known to saw cars in half, on multiple occasions. In addition to all the above mentioned activities.

Looking for recommendations The NAIM nd5xs2 is slightly above the 3k level for a streamer/Dac and gets very highly rated. I have one of those in one system and a benchmark dac3hgc in another, and for the ease of use with an all in one and their app, I prefer the NAIM. |
