Swapping Wilson Watt Puppy 6’s for open baffle Pure Audio Project Trio15 Voxative's Radio. Thanks for your input. Very intersting to note how they tend not to overload your room as much as the Daedalus could. Def something my current set up can suffers from. Also surprising that removal of some room treatments improved the sound.
Swapping Wilson Watt Puppy 6’s for open baffle Pure Audio Project Trio15 Voxative's Delete “however” above and replace with “and” !
Swapping Wilson Watt Puppy 6’s for open baffle Pure Audio Project Trio15 Voxative's Douglas. Thanks for that intriguing advice above. I have also enjoyed reading your reviews on Dagogo, from which it is clear that theses are great sounding speakers, however it is also the fact that they allow for uprgrades and other opportunities...
Swapping Wilson Watt Puppy 6’s for open baffle Pure Audio Project Trio15 Voxative's Thanks Keith. Very creative! It would need some sort of damping as well. I have tried putting the speakers on bamboo chopping board/sorbothane/slate base. It didn’t make any difference I could discern. I’m sure you are right that suspension and th...

I have thought about Townsend but they are really pricey for large and heavy speakers. I have used Herbies and DEQX DSP with some success but they are never going to control the levels of ...
Chromecast Audio Willem. Thanks for your link to the chromecast analysis at Archimago on the iPhone 7 discussion. I thought I would reply here so as not to hijack that thread. Archimago is not a website I had come across and clearly the writer knows their stuff wh...
Audiophile Setup with an Iphone 7 Hi Wiilemj.I understand that toslink offers noise isolation and, if bit-perfect, it should be comparable with other streamers. Check out this article on Chromecast as a streamer.https://darko.audio/2016/07/not-as-the-artist-intended-google-chromec...
Audiophile Setup with an Iphone 7 With no disrespect to the above contributors, Apple TV, AirPlay, the iphone DAC and Chromecast are not audiophile solutions. Many would also agree that a Mac Mini is also far from ideal as a steamer. For top quality you need a dedicated streamer a...
Need recommendations for inexpensive power cord In my experience Power Cord upgrading was far more effective upgrade than a power conditioner (a PS Audio Dectet) which I returned to the retailer. I have since made my own power cords. Not difficult, not expensive and big improvement to SQ.

Most overrated bands Cd318 - I would direct you to BBC 6 Music. A pure music station with some of the best and most knowledgeable presenters from around the world. Minimal chat and, as it’s BBC, no adverts. A perfect radio station that covers every genre of music. |
