Vinyl static ionizers who's used them?
Don't know about the others, but vacuum cleaner usually removes static completely.

One transducer vs. 2-3-4 - does it matter?
Vibration isolation or absorption?
It works with some speakers, does not with the other. Same as what your speakers are connected to. So as it was already  pointed out, tuning is the key. In my case a pair Focal 948 on spikes (spikes are built into the base) do sound different, an...
CLASS A POWER RATINGS
@charles1dad .. but class B operation is push/pull, not? Does not push/pull imply switching in between?
CLASS A POWER RATINGS
This is a very good thread, but just to clarify; Class A is a single-ended amplifier. Push-pull is class A/B (even though it is often described as class A). Do I understand it correctly?
Beatles vs. Stones
Beatles are melodic, Stones are bombastic, for whatever mood you are in. They are too different.
New Class D amplifiers
@innersound300 Never trusted audioholics, or plainly said; Gene is just full of it. Not everything that measures well sounds well; CD vs Vinyl, solid state vs. Tubes, and so on. Been there, done it (with the same equipment they promote).
New Class D amplifiers
That's where you select between good sound and smaller electricity bill. I was in the same boat as you are; Pass class A or something else. I got Musical Fidelity (A/B) instead and keep Pass for when I need something different. Just cannot let Pas...
Aliexpress/Alibaba is broken?
Yes, the app always worked, true.
Aliexpress/Alibaba is broken?
Yes, I did receive what I ordered (always did) and the glitch appeared to be temporary. One day, all of a sudden the login started working again, in every browser. The only thing that I thought was strange was that they reverted to the old passwor...

Matrix Audio Element X into Willsenton R800i for me. Wish I could try this one out https://doge.audio/product/doge-10-padc/ , but alas, not today. I have European built speakers, Focal 948, or sometimes the speakers that I build myself (mostly wi...
Whats playing on your system today?
I have just "discovered" STYX (never paid attention to them in the 80’s or 90’s), and now (almost by accident) I find their 2017 release of the Mission is quite enjoyable.
I could not agree more ..
Indeed, I have class-A, AB amplifiers at home, and the first responses I got when I mentioned those on the AudioScienceReview (pseudo-science review, rather) forum was how noisy those are. According to the specs, of course. Yet the posters there a...
Mesh network versus a simple Wi-Fi extender
@fuzztone  If the network is rock solid, the SQ probably will be fine. If not that is the first thing to improve.  "probably" will be fine? So it is not all about the network then, or is it? Care to expand?
Mesh network versus a simple Wi-Fi extender
@fuzztone Don’t worry about SQ. It’s all about the network. I am having difficulty reading this post - what are you saying?
