| New Townshend Rock 7 owner I bought my Rock Mk III 21 years ago based on a review by Robert E Green. I haven't felt the need to upgrade since. The Rock uses the inverted ball bearing design and has the solid acrylic platter. I have a OL Silver Mk II on mine - great synergy.... | |

| Who needs a MM cartridge type when we have MC? My M20FL needs 350pF (total) at 52K to sing. Run it without that capacitance and it really sounds distant and boring. The Z1/SAS is a fun cartridge but I prefer the AT20SS over both of these fine cartridges in my system. | |

| Speaker Placement Try the Cardas calculator. It will put the speakers much further into the room but I bet you will get a much improved soundstage. | |
