Apologies for making this statement without reading all I've missed. (My father passed away and I had been his primary caregiver for several years, this has severely dampened my ability to give my (all) here for quite some time). Just wanted to ad...

Mount Moriah "Miracle Temple", while you're at it, get their S/T too. This is the most COMPLETE band I've heard in some time. They can pull off about anything.

I promise, my last post here today. Starflyer59. "IAMACEO" My favorite! Check them out! Buy the vinyl at their record label site, now!

regarding the latest Hendrix... It's a nice addition to a record collection but IMO, it's not in the running for ROTY.

regarding "Atoms For Peace", I hear Flea on every bass note! I enjoy listening, but it's such an out of the mainstream record that it would be hard for me to even consider it for ROTY.

..... admitting this was R Thompson's latest label, (New West).... this is a perfect example, IMO, of how a great artist with great songs can slip a few notches with those of us who still care about SONICS.Maybe, sonically, his worst sounding lp e...

Lwin: I second "Wonderful, Glorious", IMO, maybe his best yet, certainly his best sonically. Watch out for the 'DEEP' etchings on side 1 @ 3, they'll send your stylus/arm back from the direction in which it came, in a hurry.Dgarretson: You're so r...
Looking for a new band?
Mofimadness: I'd be interested in your feedback on SF59.
Looking for a new band?
I did leave with 7 lps though.
Looking for a new band?
They didn't have any vinyl! I made the mad seach when I returned home.
Heads Up for EELS fans
"Wonderful, Glorious", be careful when you get to the end of side one to immediately raise your tonearm. The etchings in the dead wax are right 'there'.
Scott Miller RIP
I know of Game Theory only because of the lp I have, Hex, featuring Steve Kilbey of Church and Donnette Thayer of Game Theory. I always loved this lp!I'm 54, maybe I'm next?

John47: What? I assume you are making a statement. Can you tell me what or how it pertains to this thread? Thank you.

Frogman: Can you explain the outer wire (it seems) that you have wraped around your armwand?
Boz Scaggs
Maybe even earlier... you have to check out Boz Scaggs S/T, the song in which Duane Allman contributed is worth the price of admission. "Silk Degrees"?, good, but not as good as this! From memory, Boz Scaggs @ his band, was a damn good lp.
