Hi: I am using these dots for many years. I also had big windows and after application of the dots bachground noise became substantially reduced. Speakers, tubes, caps, resistors etc all benefit from the treatment. However, you must be careful - t...
Sony 9000es mods and break-in
Hi: I had my 9000es to modify by Stan Warren of Supermode (541/344-3696). I cost me $275, I believe. He changed capacitors (Black Gate) Op-Amps and something else. As usual, Stan's mod resulted in fantastic sound improvments.Good luck, Simon
Supermod for Meitner Bidat
Glreno: I don't owe DIO but I had extensive experience with equipment where power supply is cheap junk to be plugged into wall. When music became more complex, exactly as you describe, power supply always failed. I firmly believe, this is what you...

Any thoughts on Great Northern Sound mods?
Pugsrub: Steve Huntley is wonderful engineer (and person too) and you ellaborated on the example of Audio Research (where he worked for many years and know their equipment very well, BTW). If Timbre Technology would not offer constantly upgrades I...
Any thoughts on Great Northern Sound mods?
Steve Huntley is wonderful engineer. However, why in the world you want to upgrade TT1 via NOT Timbre Technology (215/540-0805, David Goldstein). You sure you have the latest upgrade of this DAC?
Audio Desk CD Edge Trimmer
Megasam: Recently I sold, and I am going to sell more of my collections of CD's and occasionally SACD's. I always put description of CD treatment(s) including Desk Syetem in the ad. Not a single person, complained (not to say returned) to me on th...
Audio Desk CD Edge Trimmer
Hi: I have one for last 5 years or so. I found it the most effective CD tweak I know. I also use "CD Upgrade", Auric Illumonator and Bedini II demagnetizer - all contribute as well. All these tweaks have even greater effects on SACD.
Review: Sony SCD-1 Audiocom-UK upgrade
Thank you, Richard for clarifications. I am waiting for my SA-14 you modded a few days ago. When I will get it I will burn-in for a couple of weeks (I do natural burn-in and not "24/7") and will post my sonic impressions here.

Hi: My unit was modded by Stan. The difference is dramatic (and for the better...). His phone:541/344-3696. Another fellow I I heard of is Richard Kern (www.audiomod.com). He did numerous mods on all or most kinds of SACD Players. AudioAsylum is f...
