Black Cat Silverstar BNC to BNC
@wigWith Blackcat Tron, you may be able to get musicality and transparency at the same time. The following is a google translation of review by Korean.ThomasThe crossover comparison of the Digit75 and TRØN could not consistently lose focus because ...
Ideal design for a new music room
20 x 30 with high vaults of 20 ft  will be good.Of course you need acoustic treatment after ward. Some people prefer carpet over wooden floor. But it depends on the personal taste.
MSB Select Dac vs Vinyl
@ melbguy_one I agree with your opinion that system synergy is more important.I had got the impression that 90K$ MSB dac did not fulfill its full potential in the system.Thomas
Can you live with your current speaker until you die?
@folkfreakI agree with you in that there is always  room for improvement in any system. But law of diminishing return applies here, there is no way to justify the cost of 90K$ MSB Select II in my system although it will give subtle improvement in d...
Can you live with your current speaker until you die?
@cd318You are right once it reach certain level, it is hard to improve.200K$ system that I heard at dealers’s ahowroom 3 days ago in Korea does sound less musical than my humble system (total paid cost around 100K$).But 300K$ vintage Western Elect...
The most musical sound in my 40 year's Audio history.
@jhillsI understand that planar speakers need a lot of space.Currently I have a big listening space with high vault.I consider getting Vintage Western Electric system if I can afford or even replica.https://www.line-magnetic.eu/images/line-magneti...
MSB Select Dac vs Vinyl
@ melbguy_one MSB Reference Dac is no slouch with the price tag of 45k$.I wish to have a chance to compare it with Select II Dac but I could not.Overall I felt my system more musical than the system using MSB Select Dac in the show.https://forum...
Can you live with your current speaker until you die?
@ melbguy_one I used to use Apogee Duetta Signature for 10 years. So I also have fantasy for nice planar speakers. But I like tube sound right now.I am more interested in getting vintage Western Electric or replica if I have a chance.
MSB Select Dac vs Vinyl
@ mahler123 Kronus turntable also cost 40K$.I never felt it lacked dynamic range compared to MSB Select II.I would not spend more than 10K on front end right now.Somehow I felt my current system is much more musical than this 200k$ system.
MSB Select Dac vs Vinyl
Somehow no response from Audiogon members. But I got more response from other forum.https://forums.stevehoffman.tv/threads/msb-select-dac-vs-vinyl.792315/I am having lot of fun in Korea listening to several high end and vintage systems not availabl...

MSB Select Dac vs Vinyl
The Select DAC II: MSB Technology's $90,000 D/A converter | Darko.Audio I am not ready to break my Piggy Bank to buy it. But it sounded good enough to justify its price to people who can afford it.
The most musical sound in my 40 year's Audio history.
@jhillsThanks a lot for your kind word.I would have kept Apogee Duetta Signature if I had enough room in my listening room. The advantage of Lanshe 4.1 speaker is high efficiency to be driven by modest power tube amplifier. For the last 20 years, I ...
What is the most memorable concert that you had attended so far?
@ lhasaguy It would be really nice to have been Allman Bros Band concert. Also you did not miss the train even after enjoying the last song.I wish I had been there too.
99$ Digital cable is damn good
I had got Blackecat cables with BNC termination but with two adapters to RCA.So I have freedom to try to compare between BNC and RCA.Jay's cdt2 mk2 has both BNC and RCA outputs. But I do not have BNC input to Lyngdorf 2170.
