Magico owners S1Mk 2
@4425 I owned several Magicos over the years (not the S1). I did own the 2-way Mini for several years, ’chesty’ does not come to mind when experiencing any of them.

Even-handed, maybe, but just not truehttps://forum.audiogon.com/discussions/all-new-magico-a5-loudspeakers-biggest-bang-for-your-buck-on-...
Magico owners S1Mk 2
I would take erik_squires comments with a BIG grain of salt. It has been proven a few times already that his imagination works overtime.I have my doubt if he has ever hard a Magico.
High Frequency Oscillation hurt resistors in Magico A5 crossovers
@ricred1  Newton's third law : For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction. My comment was a reaction to a silly remark involving your speaker. Didn't see you complain then 😶
High Frequency Oscillation hurt resistors in Magico A5 crossovers
@havocmanYou should have bought the monitor audioThe monitor audio plastic tweeter diaphragm would melt like a candle, LOL
High Frequency Oscillation hurt resistors in Magico A5 crossovers
How about a quick Google search on what is ’high-frequency oscillation’ in audio (Parasitic oscillation). It’s straightforward, real, and distractive. If you are using a PC as a source, you never know what it is sending out, best to turn-off the a...
Mágico M6 vs Big Wilson speakers
It’s not just about ’deadness,’ that’s easy. A loudspeaker enclosure also needs to be stiff. That is where the Aluminum comes into play (that is why the top of the line Rockport is made out of Aluminum as well). Magico does a reasonably good job a...
Mágico M6 vs Big Wilson speakers
@mtdining You forgot the 3rd fact, which is actually the first one; you have no idea what you’re talking about, yet you keep at it 🙄
Rockport Atria II or Magico A5
Congratulations on your new speakers. Both the S1 and the Atria have a bigger midrange driver (more like midbass in the S1), which means not nearly as wide dispersion as the 5” midrange in the A5. I am surprised you found the off-axis response lac...
Rockport Atria II or Magico A5
@cantorgale The A5 are indeed incredible, not just for their price, but at any price. However, you should hear them yourself. As you can see, people here consistently "reconstruct” false memories. I wouldn’t have much trust in any hearsay comments.
Rockport Atria II or Magico A5
@gpgr4blu Would love to hear a Q7 vs. similarly priced Raidho, may I ask where such a dealer reside?
All New Magico A5 Loudspeakers // Biggest "BANG" For Your BUCK On The Market ?!
@mheinzeI would not bother too much with these haters. Daveyf1 has been bashing Magico for years, even manage to get his ass kicked out of few other forums just for being the ’lovely’ person he is.
Magico Mini 2
Wilson Tune Tots - a $600 Scan-Speak kit, I don't think so...
Tonearm mount to the plinth vs arm board vs rotating arm board vs isolated tower
@fsonicsmith Nothing is wrong with Aluminum; to the contrary, it is a superb material for almost anything mechanical (there is a reason supercars are built from it). It rings because it is very stiff, and that is usually a good thing, but because ...
Magico vs the world
It may not be the best for everyone, that is OK, what is not OK is the BS from people that probably never even heard them, or spent 2 sec at a show, standing by the door, cause Magico room is always full and hard to get a good seat, making judgmen...
