Power cord? Why?
Although this has been asked and answered many times here, I'll add to the database of discussion. There are many reasons power cords make a difference, and "what sonic difference they make" is dependent on a myriad of design factors such as induct...
lamm ml2 with wilson watt 6 or 7?
While I may not have the propellar driven beanie nor pocket protector to qualify me as Mr Kwann apparently does, I thought the 7's and VTL combo sounded superb in NYC. As did the gentleman in the rows ahead of me, including Wes Phillips and John A...
Audio Aero Capitole 24/192 too foward and bright?
I've found the sound of the Aero to be pleasing both running direct and through my Presence Audio pre-amp. Clearly, system balance and preference will play a role in which route sounds best, but it's nice to have a choice.Running direct sounds a ...
Blue - Like Keb Mo
You must try Junior Wells, who was a strong influence on Kevin Moore's sound. Slightly less pop oriented but more real and accessible than the last couple of Mo CD's-- imo. Also, some Buddy Guy music has the same soul/blues feel

Hi Cornfed, I'm sorry your experience with the Hydra has been unsuccessful. Although I noted that Albert P. echos your impressions regarding pace, rhythym and timing, I have not heard of, or been given that feedback from the many customers, dealer...

Wisconsin - Anyone interested?
There's a lot of interest in music and audio in Wisconsin, I guess it depends where you live. Madison has lots of interested hobbyists and a few high-end shops. Milwaukee less so, or so it seems. There is a great dealer out in Appleton, Bruce Jaco...
Talon Khorus Vs Audio Physic Avanti III
Hi, I've owned the AP Centuries and Calderas, and have the Khorus X in my home now. All are exceptional speakers but have very different balances and strengths that would make personal experience mandatory before purchase. This isn't about bad an...
Mark Levinson 39
Whoa, chas, what scintillating wit and repartee! Sure put that pesky, agressive question asker in his place dincha? Very impressive indeed. Nothing like the internet to take out your misplaced angst and venom risk free. The net is a virtual playg...
Powersnakes power cords
I would add that there are many exceptional power cords deserving of audition, and a number of them can enhance the listening experience on a par with major component upgrade. I completely disagree with you Jade, that power cords are "a hoax and a...
Shunyata Hydra or PS-600 PS audio ????
Yes, I believe Bill's doing the review, I no longer write for SS. I believe Myles will be handling the review for Ultimate. Grant
Talon Khorus question
Excellent idea Kevin. I used an Audio Magic Clairvoyant, {silver ribbon} power cord on my souce component while driving the Khorus's and it worked wonders, rendering tighter image focus, rock solid bass and terrific extension up top. Definitely, ...

Yes Jade, it is a new product and the company is just now getting up to full speed production. There will be a review of the Hydra coming up in the next issue or so, of SoundStage complete with comparisons, as well as a review upcoming in Ultimate...
Shunyata Hydra
...And who was it in this thread Chris, exactly, that asked 'who was the one pushing them'? My but you're forthcoming with loose associations and subtle put downs, whether you've an 'axe to grind' or not, only you know.I've known Stewart quite a ...
