Album(s) That Took The Longest To Come Around To
Ten Song Demo is incredible, so amazingly great.
1990 Radio Shack catalog
My Dad bought me my first stereo, from Radio Shack.  He had to "put it on layaway", and then pay a little each week.  Lived in Baltimore, both parents worked, 5 kids, in a rented 3 story row house.  Fond fond memories.
Looking for a CD / SACD player. Also, tell me about Esoteric
I have several Luxman SACD players, all are amazing, and serviced in the US if ever needed.  Ever think of getting one used?
What is your front end ?
Luxman D-10X
RIP. Johnny Barbata
He was great
A great video on an artist you may not be aware of. Participants include Elvis Costello.
In my view (and only that) he's not in the class of those you compare him to here.  Especially JDG, and of course the late-great.
Mobile Fidelity Ultradeck
I'm in PA; if you are close you can stop in and see/listen.

Classical "Gems"
"Bach-Solo Violin Sonatas and Partitas-Nathan Milstein" This is an amazing recording.  Sounds incredible on both vinyl and disc.  Masterfull.

One Lonely Night, magnificent
One of my other favorites by her, perhaps you own it too, is "The Things That We Are Made Of".   Most especially one song on that recording about Ben Bullington, driving to his funeral in Montana.  It's called "Livingston".
Anybody using the last record preservative

Jazz Mount Rushmore
Closest I ever get to jazz is Tony Bennett.  So, for me it would be a flat mountainside.  I know, I should just refrain from giving an opinion.
Has anyone heard from bdp24 lately?
"You talking about me?  You must be talking about me." Welcome back old man!!  I thought I apologized to you for that. If not, I'm doing so now.  Please forgive.
