My live-in girlfriend at the time was head over heels for Focal and then we heard Vandersteen 5As and those are the ones I bought.  She loved them as much as I did/do.  "My girlfriend's not here any more but my Vandy's are".  
Curious .. What is the compared price of your tt vs spkrs
Front end, analog, approx. $2K, speakers, approx. $19K.  Front end, digital, approx. $6K.  Sound in my music room?  Priceless.  At least it is to me.

May 25th.  Dylan's birthday, hear his songs all over the radio that day, many stations, and a wide variety.  My favorite I guess.

Harmony House was on York Avenue, around 62nd street, and yes they did repairs too.  I was a grad student in that area 1974-1979, and happened to wander in there, was hooked.  They had great stuff, and would have designers/manufacturers in.  Joe G...

A man I have seen/heard many (but not nearly enough) times; live on the east coast and travelled to Bakersfield many years ago on NYE to see him 2 nights back to back at Buck Owen's Crystal Palace.  Saw him in NY as an opener for Dylan!  Too many ...
