| power cables where do I start? For me, I always start from pre amp. Others will differ but why not you try it different equipment? Once, I tried power cable and IC on just on right side of my mono amp. It's fun doing that kind of shi*. Lol. | |

| EL34 equivalent tube types I also like the GL kt77 the best in new production lines of new tubes. Smooth and clean with good details. It just lacks little punch in lower region, so voice is not as rich as NOS tubes. | |

| Did I just ruin my amp I would change all el34 tubes with new ones. It’s costly but you said they are junk. Your amp should be ok but if you want to feel little better, open it up and visually check it over, especially little resisters for off colors. Replace them tubes... |
