High Fidelity Cables CT-1designed by Rick Schultz
Kzhtoo....I did the same thing. I went from the HiDiamond digital reference to the CT-1E then to the CT-1UR. It's been in place all summer and last week went back to the CT-1E. I actually believe I like it better. Soundstage broadened out and more...
Taralabs cables
A'lab, What kind of tale are you spinning? I have the October Stereophile in front of me and I don't see anything close to what you say. Maybe I have the JV printing for non-believers??

Bricasti M1 - where is the music
In the manufacturers' comments following the Bricasti M1 review in the latest Stereophile, the M1 designer explains the filter update.
Bricasti M1 - where is the music
I've been listening to the M1 for several months and I find it an advantage that I have 7 filters to choose from. It takes a bit of listening to settle on one. IMO the dynamics, transparency and musicality without any listener fatigue are amazing....
The Ultimate DAC for Approx $10,000
I also agree with choosing the Bricasti M1. It not only sounds wonderful but it is substantial and well designed too.
Capacitor log Mundorf Silver in Oil
I have used a kitchen pressure cooker hooked to a reasonable priced vacuum pump from McMaster Carr to evacuate air and remove bubbles from exoxy and potting varnish. Seems to work very well. Good luck.
