Ugrade-itis - is there a cure?
When you close your eyes and you’re, "there". You’ll never understand, ’til you hear it.  Then again, it could just be a psychological/quantum thing(I'm retired/out of money).

@saxman73 -  Got it!  Thanks for the update on my order.   Always happy to encourage & support fellow music lovers & makers.
Direct 2 Disc
Those prices would be great, if the vinyls aren’t trashed. Better than four decades(ie: since SF Ltd’s release) offers a lot opportunity for abuse. Here’s hoping you find a good one! There are a number on eBay. https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_fro...

@saxman73 - Thanks, Jerome! btw: Did I just pay extra for a number, or is that an upgraded/better pressing(ie: no compression/virgin vinyl/etc), besides getting a digital download?   $$ on the way!

@saxman73-  I the vinyl still available?   Couldn't find a link to it's offering.

@pgaulke60- If you at all care for New Orleans style Jazz, Crystal Clear did a 45 RPM, D2D, titled ’San Francisco Ltd’. An excellent, dynamic, "crisp" and quiet recording/pressing, done in white vinyl. Regarding your last query: Whether, "better" ...

@mr_m - ".... I found the Treasury Lp’s somewhat lacking. Especially, in dynamics." YEP, not quite as good as their D2Ds, but- still had much of the Sax/Sheffield touch intact. I have couple of their demo CDs, but- prefer the Treasury presentation...

@gphill-  Any further observations/conclusions?  Just curious.

btw: I was just kidding about the wall, but- that album’s no joke.  Happy listening, all!

@marqmike - I haven’t raised the roof yet, with Thelma/Pressure Cooker, but- I did manage to crack a plaster/lath wall. It was probably a little weak, to start with, though. No lack of dynamic bottom, on that disc, either!

@rauliruegas -  I love the way they captured the auditorium's acoustic, too.   Immense, with glorious Sabine Constants(a well designed venue).   If you care for New Orleans style Jazz, at all, try the San Francisco Limited vinyl.
