Vintage vs New
@jasonborne52  +1Thank you! According to some, it's as if copper wasn't discovered untill the last decade.
An Urgent Hypothetical!
I'm sorry, but the only helpful comment I can offer is the solution I took. Get a shovel and get rid of the wife/girlfriend.
Poor grammar is disappointing and decidedly distracting in formal audio reviews.
What you talkin' 'bout, Willis?What, you talkin' 'bout Willis?
Do I NEVER shut it off…?
@jnorris2005    +1  Yep!
What Are Your Reference Discs? or Specific Reference Tracks
Try Al DeMeola's Scenario. Along with Al's virtuoso guitar work, Tony Levin's bass stick will tickle your wobbly bits, and Jan Hammer's keyboard playing is on par with anything he's ever done. Rounding out the band with Phil Collins and Bill Brufo...

Flipping record causing series of loud pops
@mijostyn   +1   I prefer my M1A over the AR15, but either will remove that pesky static.
Why do people say low power amps should be good for bookshelf speakers?
@tony1954   +1  4. All of the above.
Deja Vu all over again

Is your heart filled with a love of music, or something else?
For the love of music, but also the love of firearms. Nothing like the balance of a Colt SAA or 100+ year old Browning A5 or custom stocked Sako in the hands. Fine precision made tools are such a marvel to behold.
BUI - Guilty
@vinylzone     +1  Just because you were "experienced" at the time doesn't mean you haven't done your research prior to purchase. I pulled the trigger on a nice Perreaux amp awhile back while I was "experimenting" with herbal libation. I am quite ...
