I think you could benefit from moving your speaker outwards and revisit your front end components. Maybe even going to a speaker that fits your room better.

Get a Chinook. You can run just about any cart you want.   
Why do folks spend more on electronics than on speakers?
Would it be easier to get the most expensive speakers you can afford and then gradually upgrade electronics to get the sound your happy with from said speakers?

Toyman, I auditioned the Nova 500 and that really showed a lot of improvement over the previous integrated amps. I was impressed and would have kept it but I wanted to go to separates. The Gan400 with PreDac was the logical next step in the Peacht...

I have the GaN400 and the PreDAC combo and am very happy customer. It’s a big step up from what I had before which was the Peachtree Nova 300. Big in terms of soundstage. Just sounds like a wider soundstage. I’m guessing the new Dac may have somet...

OP,   In my setup I use absorption panels behind the speakers as well as diffusion panels. I’m no expert but they do help and having furniture and shelves in your listening area make a big difference. You can experiment by removing all your furnit...
