A little bit of Truth I have to agree with Massvm and the majority. People like EZ are in the wrong hobby or need there hearing checked. Cables do make a difference and live with it. Some are better than others . I say no more about this washed out issue.
SHUNYATA BLK MAMBA or WHALE ELITE? By the way I switched back to older Levinson gear #23.5 amp & #26 preamp and traded in the Krell. All I can say is that it's good to back to with Levinson gear.
SHUNYATA BLK MAMBA or WHALE ELITE? Pornstar - you are on the wrong website. Keep your vulgar insights to the X rated sites. I agree with the Whale owners on the improvements. I have a 3ft Whale on my Sony SCD-1 player and a 5ft on my Levinsonpreamp. Big improvements with bass tighn...
New BMI Whale Elite Power Cord I agree with you Gregdavis. I am a Whale(s) owner and can give a very high recommendation. I placed mine on my KrellKSA-250 amp and the other on KBL preamp. Everything was improved accross the board. Tighter bass, detail, imaging, soundstage and n...

Snell Type A system To add to that; AIIIi's were a revamped version of the AIII done by Kevin Voecks after Peter Snell's untimely passing. Different crossover and different drivers (faster response drivers) and a slightly bigger cabinet than the AIII. All great speak...
Top Ten Speakers of All Time? Best box-Snell A3i's, Best ribbon-Apogee Divas, Best electrostat-Martin Logan's Statment. All three are great speakers for there category. Room acoustics, and synergy of components is a must to get the full potential of these impressive speakers.
Top Ten Pre Amp Solid State of all time? Threshold Fet 10E. Very neutral with no coloration. Awesome detail and dynamics. A great design by Nelson Pass, and Stereophile CLASS A for years when it meant something.
Snell AIIIi's?? How good are they?? Ardvark is ignorant at it's best.....duh?? First of all the A3i's were very limited in production. Second they were never discounted because they were special order through the dealer and made by Snell to fill the order. There was usually a 6-8 we...
Snell AIIIi's?? How good are they?? Aardvark, you are confusing them with the A's or AII's or AIII's. The A3i's are a totally different design, and was Kevin Voecks (now at Revel) pride and joy. To maximize performance use the DB Systems electronic crossover and biamp. Your room has... |
