Dear Nandric: Do you use/know in deep ( sometime/overtime ) that Technics tonearm?well, I still own it and comparing with the FR's/Hadcock IMHO the Technics is a better choice. If you never try it my advise is that the next time you see it buy it, ...

Which tonearm should I keep?
Dear Rich121: The Technics 505 IMHO is the best on those tonearms. Its VTA on the fly mechanism is so unique, precise and " user friendly " like no other, the tonearm too is versatile due that you can change the arm wands that have different effec...

Tone Arm Mass
Dear Rada: Other what you already do it ( and you can go on to some limit. ) there are somethings that can/could affect the bass performance ( other than VTA that you already try it ): azimuth, VTF, on target cantilever align ( not the cartridge b...
Dynavector DV 507 MKII
Dear iSanchez: Do you already try it in static way?, no?: why don't you try it and share with us your findings?. Thank you in advance.Regards and enjoy the music.Raul.
Dynavector DV 507 MKII
Dear Audiofeil: Yes, it is more easy ( dynamic balanced ) to make VTF changes because in static way we need a VTF gauge always.Anyway it is " interesting " to 507MK2 owners to try both ways and choose about.Regards and enjoy the music.Raul.
Dynavector DV 507 MKII
Dear Audiofeil: Yes it is but any one can use it as main counterweight like in any static balance tonearm: you set to 0(cero ) the VTF dial and aply the VTF through the ( a,b,c ) sub-weight, that's all. IMHO works really fine, you can/could try it...
Dynavector DV 507 MKII
Dear Fosse: Like all other Dynavector tonearms the 507 MK2 is a dynamic balance design but you can use it in static way using , like you say, the counterweight only. IMHO and over my experiences with those tonearms it performs better in a static w...
