Step Up Transformer
Dear @edgewear  : The issue is not about FR but what showed your Anna in those both FR tonearms that just said the FX truly was and is spot-on with. The Anna is not only a " so so " tracker along those 16grs. on its weigth. I owned the MAX 282 w...
A Few Turntable Measurements using the RPM Android App
Dear @kevemaher  : Good that you shared those measurements that speaks by it self what I knew of the Denon quality.   I still own two Acoustic Signature old top of the line TT's alog Denon, Technics, Luxman and the like. Inside the external PS i...
Phantom Supreme to 4Point-14?
Dear @wrm57 : Both EPA 100 are really good tonearms and in any case both needs an internal rewiring. Japan vintage analog items or Yahoo could be the best sites to look for either one. Differences in between depends of the cartridge you mount an...
Step Up Transformer
Dear @edgewear  : It's no surprice the mistracking you experienced with the 64S and low compliance Anna where its resonance frequency is not aquated and out of the " ideal " frequency range when in the 64FX it's spot on at the middle. The 4400 is ...
Step Up Transformer
Dear @lewm : I think that more and more Agon forum audiophiles ( 90% ) as in other internet audio forums people are fully oriented to what they like and nothing wrong with that . The experimented audiophiles as edgewear or mulveling and many oth...
Step Up Transformer
Dear @fundsgon  :  Can you explain which are your targets to " introduce " a SUT+cables+input/output connectors and solder joints additionals im that PS Audio phono stage?  is it because you are a MUSIC lover or maybe just for fun? In the past ho...
Phantom Supreme to 4Point-14?
Dear @wrm57  : If you can find out the EPA 100 that's bettr option and up-grade vs the Graham and maybe the Reeds too.    R.
Step Up Transformer
Dear @fundsgon  : I can't understand why you ask for a SUT when the Stellar is a great active high gain phono stage and the Cadenza needs no SUT with the STEllar and if you insist for the SUT you will only degrading the Cadenza sensitive cartridge...
Subwoofer
@jpwarren58  : Not complex, it could be complex if you insist in only one subwoofer and do not care about the very high Intermodulation Distortion and Total Harmonic Distortion the Ryan speakers havs.   Subs: HSU or Velodyne.   R.
I need Hign compliance cartridges
Dear @serge8  : If you still own your MS tonearm then it almost does not matters about high/low compliance because that tonearm is a removeble headshell design and you always can have different headshells weigth to match the cartridge or cartridge...
Subwoofer
Dear @jpwarren58  : The main issue could be not if you need one or two subwoofers.   The main issue is that your really good Ryan speakers are a two way design crossing at 2khz and even that maybe you don't know that same woofer/mid-range driver...
You've run some pretty fancy MC's, but the _______ MM cartridge really impressed me
Dear @wrm57  : You are welcome.   Well Your ADC cartridge as other ADC models are really good and is  no MM design but Induced Magnet. ood for you.   Regards and enjoy the MUSIC NOT DISTORTIONS, R.
ZYX "House" Sound
Dear @kevemaher  : Good. In the other side and in this analog forum could be that medium and major knowledge level audiophiles are oriented for subjectivity opinions, not all maybe the 80% and in other internet forums even more.   Through my aud...
ZYX "House" Sound
@kevemaher : I can give you that tonearm characteristic but with all respect you need to make yur research that at the end it’s a learning and fun " trip ": the effective mass Technics tonearm is 12 grs. Yes, the transducers are the more critica...
The damper, the tension wire and cantilever position
Dear @nandric  : With all respect. For me this audio analog forum main target could be that any audiophile with any knowledge level can  learn what to do to improve the listen experiences. Maybe I'm so stupid but I don't know how can help any one...
