Magnepan LRS compared to the .7 or the 1.7i ?
Tim,Appreciate the kind words and suggestions on subs. Got a pair of REL T5i’s but haven’t set them up with .7’s just yet. Honestly I’m quite pleased even now with the bass on the Maggie’s but I have much to learn. Today I spoke to Wendell at Magn...

Magnepan LRS power amp compatibility?
Thanks for the insight. Went with the .7's instead. I'm running them with my Bob Latino ST-70 with KT88 tubes and Aretha preamp. OMG! Absolutely amazing sound! Amp has so much current it drived the heck out of these Maggie's with ease!

Magnepan LRS compared to the .7 or the 1.7i ?
It would be helpful if anyone could offer a bit more details regarding the differences between LRS and .7. I’m on the fence myself but will probably just pick up the .7 today at my local dealer to avoid any further suspense.

Tongan Labs F6 vs Zu Audio Omen Dirty Weekend Mk.II
No clarity cap upgrades as far as I know.
Klipsch Forte IIIs vs. Heresy III with a sub
Boxy in the sense that it sounded more like a hollow box speaker. I’d describe it as a box without sound deadening.
Klipsch Forte IIIs vs. Heresy III with a sub
Oddly, I just had a chance to hear a pair of Forte III. Their sound characteristics were completely different than what I get from my Heresy II's. The two speakers were not directly side by side, but at no time have my Heresy sounded like the Fort...
REL T5i Subwoofer Hum issue
Guys, thank you all for the feedback. The mono vs stereo issue was very interesting since I've always wondered about that. I may want to get a second sub for stereo bass then, assuming that means it may sound even better? Thanks for sharing that i...
Klipsch Forte IIIs vs. Heresy III with a sub
Helps to listen though and it also depends on the room settings. The issue too is so many audio enthusiasts are just relying on flat audio settings.  In my opinion this whole thing about playing music flat is for the birds. That means one assumes ...
