What happen to MQA on Tidal? Wow, what a concept!! Actually listen to and enjoy music based upon what it sounds like rather than what it is.
What happen to MQA on Tidal? My Tidal account still has MQA files. Some still sound good. Some not so good. Just like with every other format. I will not miss them when they go, neither will I dance on their grave.
Speaker that are 'KEEPERS" for the long haul!!! I agree with you Tomstruck. The Vandersteen Quatro CT. I spent years owning and auditioning speakers and always found myself wanting for something different. That all stopped with the Quatros.
Best Basic CD Player (no SACD, USB, etc.) I second the recommendation for the Bryston CD-3. Absolutely best player I have ever owned. Yes, a bit pricey but if you love to listen to CDs don't skimp. Streaming has eclipsed my CD playing significantly so the CD-3 gets little use nowadays ...
Simaudio 400m / 860A vs PS Audio BHK250 Thank you all for your responses. Just to add a bit of diversion to the discussion, has anyone compared the Simaudio Moon amps to Ayre? I am also considering the Ayre VX-Twenty power amp. It is similar in price and power to the Sim 760a.
Simaudio 400m / 860A vs PS Audio BHK250 Anyone listen to or own the Simaudio Moon 760A? How does it compare to the 860 or the M400? I know it has less power than either the M400 or the 860 but I think it would be sufficient for my Vandersteen Quatros. I doubt if I want to spend the m...

KEF-LS50 with REL T-Zero? Anyone? I ended up with the REL-T7i. I also was confused with all the options regarding the settings. If you go to KEF they recommend running the sub at highest volume level and highest crossover setting and use the KEF DSP app to control the sub. I ta...
KEF-LS50 with REL T-Zero? Anyone? I've been listening to the KEF LS50Ws for about a day now....with and without the REL T5i. They are pretty amazing. Very similar to the LS50 but tunable to my room. Something about those built in powerful amps that seems to focus and allow the ...
KEF-LS50 with REL T-Zero? Anyone? I agree lak, even the T5i is marginal in terms of the impact it has on the system. Space and finances limit the degree to which I want to enhance this second system in a casita. I am beginning to think that unless I can get a proper sub (T7i or ...
KEF-LS50 with REL T-Zero? Anyone? b_limoYour advice about about setting up the LS50W actually turns out to be very relevant. Since my first post I have received the LS50 and have been listening to them for a few days. I realized after hearing them that if I really wanted more ba...
KEF-LS50 with REL T-Zero? Anyone? I have the LS50 passive, not the wireless active version. As I stated in my original post I am powering the speakers with an Audio Research 100.2 solid state amp. (100wpc). Since my original post I have now received the LS50s and have them setup i...
KEF-LS50 with REL T-Zero? Anyone? Thank you Kenjet for your comments. I almost didn't recognize the response came from you since the heading was missing your characteristic and pretentious "MUST READ" announcement. Yes, I am aware of the bass limitations of the LS50. This is a s...
Lumin vs Auralic I have not heard the T2. I have a Lumin T1. If the T2 is as good as the T1 (and it should be better) then I think you will be very pleased. I auditioned a Auralic and a Lumin player at the same time so I got to compare the two apps. They are b...
