How critical is the exact placement of the tonearm
I agree with Thom. But if you take care in setting it up (Really careful care) as in the VPI manual as I did. It is very rewarding.

I agree also with Flrnlamb but MIT image very well. If you want my opinion AudioQuest is the cable I would go with if I could do it all over again.

Raul. Please explain further. I only buy new disks. I refuse to buy used. As in the new Matallica records. They offer em both in 33 1/5 and 45. I own not one 45. If 45 sound better then i am for purchasing the 45's. I trust your judgement to the ...

I have 3 RB1090's In my home theater. They have mega POWER but is not refined POWER. Compared to my Krell's they lack heavily in dimensionality and tonal color. Perfect for Home Theater as to witch I use them in.

Do Not spend your money on the device. It is not needed if you set your turn table up properly.

If you buy the 100.2 it will sound tinny.It also will not be laid back and you will lose allot of definition. The 100.2 is not a good piece of equipment compared to the REF110. You will gain dynamics and punch though. It is a trade off but my opin...

I agree with JOEY V. That is why I purchased A aesthetix IO Signature. Just waiting to receive the unit. I am not quite sure how it is going to sound with solid state. But I am sure it is going to be better then me KPE Reference phono stage.
